Celebrate Your Dog’s Birthday in Style: Top Products for a Pawsome Party!

I can’t believe we’ve had Meatball a whole year already! With all the photos, fun times, and memories we’ve made with him so far, it feels like a lifetime. We are looking forward to many more!

 

We recently celebrated his 4th birthday and 1 year gotcha day by throwing him his OWN party! Yes, we’re extra AF when it comes to our dogs because they deserve everything and more. This is his first birthday with us, so of course we had to go all out and make it extra special. First, we had to come up with a theme, because parties are just more fun that way, right?!

With his name being Meatball, we had to have the theme as “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatball.” If you aren’t familiar with the movie “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,” it’s a must watch. It’s a fun movie the entire family can enjoy together. We put our own spin on it since there’s only one true Meatball.

Below, we give you all the details of his paw-some party so you can throw your pup their very own party too (even if their name isn’t Meatball). 😊

Setting the Scene

To kick off Meatball's celebration, we decked out our outdoor area with these amazing Amazon finds that you can snag for your own party:

  • Meatballs with Clouds: Create a dreamy atmosphere with these realistic looking meatballs hanging from home-made clouds that we printed and cut out. 
  • Meatball Garland: Decorate your space with all the meatballs. 
  • Our Little Meatball is Turning 4 Garland: Add some paw-some flair with this garland. This was for a 1 year old party so we printed our own number 4 and colored it to match. 
  • Spaghetti & Meatballs Tableware Set: Eat food in style with spaghetti and meatballs themed plates, cups, and napkins. 
  • Photo Banner: Celebrate not only the first year of your pup’s life but any year you choose with this photo banner that highlights a different memory for each month.

  • Sit Stay Click by Jen Christensen: Jen always does an amazing job capturing all our special moments. She’s a huge animal lover and Meatball loves her too (caught him giving her kisses, which he doesn’t give out to just anyone). 
  • Brixtix Bakery for Dogs: The scrumptious cake was specially made for Meatball due to his severe food allergies. Cuppy (owner) went above and beyond to ensure she used Meatball friendly ingredients and absolutely nailed the design. It’s also made with human-grade ingredients so of course I had to test taste for myself, and it did not disappoint my tastebuds. 
  • SmallCakes Cupcakery: The human guests enjoyed the mini cupcakes that were decorated for the theme. They not only were delicious but were perfect bite size. 
  • Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs: The human guests enjoyed sub sandwiches that were easily ordered online and they had a variety of options.
